There are birds around us everywhere, some living in parks and gardens near our homes, and some even sharing space with us in the heart of the city. So in this post, firstly let’s talk about what are local birds? and then we’ll share with you the top 05 photos of the week photos of local birdlife.

What are local birds?

Local birds can be different according to the location. In my locality, these birds like House sparrows, crows, pigeons, Indian roller and peacocks, etc are local birds.

Common Kestrel – female!

The common kestrel is a bird of prey species belonging to the kestrel group of the falcon family Falconidae. It is also known as the European kestrel, Eurasian kestrel, or Old World Kestrel. The ashy prinia or ashy wren-warbler is a small warbler in the family Cisticolidae. This prinia is a resident breeder in the Indian Subcontinent, ranging across most of India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, and western Myanmar. This local birdlife photo has clicked in Gujarat, India.

Find of the diffrence: Egret!

Egrets are herons that have white or buff plumage, develop fine plumes during the breeding season. Egrets are not a biologically distinct group from the herons and have the same build. This photo has photographed in Udaipur, Tripura.
