Of all the animals to photograph, birds are some of the most challenging. Small, nervous, quick-moving. Everything about them can make a photographer struggle. And capturing bird close-up portraits can be even more challenging.

White-throated kingfisher!
The white-throated kingfisher also known as the white-breasted kingfisher is a tree kingfisher, widely distributed in Asia from the Sinai east through the Indian subcontinent to the Philippines. This kingfisher is a resident over much of its range, although some populations may make short-distance movements. This bird closeup has photographed in Pasir Ris Park.
The great stone-curlew or great thick-knee is a large wader which is a resident breeder in tropical southern Asia from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh into Southeast Asia. This bird closeup has photographed in Gujarat -India.

The common emerald dove, also called Asian emerald dove and grey-capped emerald dove, is a widespread resident breeding pigeon native to the tropical and subtropical parts of the Indian Subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The dove is also known by the names of green dove and green-winged pigeon. So this bird closeup has photographed in Karnataka Western Ghats.
The Himalayan monal, also known as the Impeyan monal and Impeyan pheasant, is a pheasant native to Himalayan forests and shrublands at elevations of 2,100–4,500 m. It is part of the family Phasianidae and is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List. This photo has photographed in Uttarakhand, India.
